Basscademy was started by a group of passionate anglers with extensive experience in modern technologies. We’re proud of our ability to combine the latest and greatest data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence technologies with our on the water fishing experience to bring unparalleled, advanced bass fishing insights to the world.

A large part of that work is dedicated to parsing, identifying, and matching the tens of thousands of products on the market into sensible categories to help provide useful information around bait selection. Other efforts include applying state of the art techniques for slicing, dicing, and extracting useful analytics and insights. Our team is focused on using science, statistics, and data gathered from thousands of real-world fishing reports to help everyone become world class bass anglers.

We seek to answer the five “W”s of bass fishing: figure out what baits to use, when to get on the water, where to wet a line, and why bass behave the way they do. Of course, we leave the fifth “W” up to you, our esteemed users, and challenge you to ask yourself who you want to be in your bass fishing journey. By democratizing bass fishing analytics, we hope to encourage anglers from all backgrounds to find new and innovative ways to catch bigger and better fish.
